Unless otherwise stated on a products specification sheet, all Tensility products are compliant with RoHS Directive (EU) 2015/863 and do not exceed the specified levels of the following banned substances:
· Lead (Pb): 0.1%
· Mercury: 0.1%
· Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB): 0.1%
· Hexavalent Chromium (Cr6+): 0.1%
· Cadmium (Cd): 0.01%
· Polybrominated Diphenylethers (PBDE)
· Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP): 0.1%
· Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP): 0.1%
· Dibutyl phthalate (DBP): 0.1%
· Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP): 0.1%
Many of Tensility’s products are manufactured with components made from copper alloys containing up to 4% lead by weight, and meet compliance through exemption 6(c).
Under REACH regulations – Article 7, Tensility International Corporation is considered a provider of "articles." All of our products are assemblies/components, not raw materials. None of our products intentionally release substances into the environment.
Unless otherwise indicated on the part's specification sheet, Tensility confirms our products do not contain substances of very high concern (SVHC) above the specified limit, as updated January 15th, 2018.
We will continue to monitor the status of the Candidate List as part of our on-going effort of compliance, including the possible need under Article 33 of REACH to inform product recipients and consumers if an article contains more than 0.1% by weight per article of any substance that is added to the SVHC candidate list in the future.
